1996 Suzuki GSX-R 750 SRAD. I’ve wanted a blue and white Gixxer 750 since I was a kid and this is the coolest of the bunch IMO. It’s got some fueling problems and I’m holding off until next year to register it so that I can get historical plates, so I don’t expect to be riding it much until next season. These are crazy rare in original shape though, most have been thrashed , painted, dropped or lengthened.

Damn I love vintage sportbikes. Less and less practical as I become more and more of a broken down old man, but it is so tempting.

By far my favorite GSXR

I have back problems galore and bought one of the least ergonomic bikes in existence: a 90s Ducati SuperSport. Only paid $1500 for it, then spent $400 on parts and $2000 on lawyer fees after allegedly going too fast on it.

But it was worth it, right?
My fear is a distracted Stepford in a RX or similar. But assuming I live, then maybe I can buy a house.

lol no I was scared as shit because it was the middle of the night, we’d had several close calls with deer, my high beam wasn’t working, and this group of riders (none of which I knew) was leaving me in the dust.

Things I avoid - night, rain, riding with idiots I don’t know.
Unfortunately, Seattle area traffic is too dense and oblivious for me to enjoy riding. But maybe sometime.

Congrats. In my mind that is exactly what a Gixxer is. They never looked that good again.

Nice!
My roommate back in the day had a ‘97 GSXR600. I had a ‘96 CBR600F2 Smokin Joe’s at the time, too. I rode the GSXR more than he did. He got lazy, stopped locking it up at night and it got stolen. He replaced it with a GSXR750. Man, those were fun bikes.
Maybe someday I’ll finally replace that F2. I sold it in 2000 when I left VA.

Yeah I was having a bad night and made dumb decisions.
